The manufacturing process of a Hastelloy alloy reactor must strictly adhere to the special processing specifications for nickel-based alloys. The core process includes four key stages: material pretreatment, forming, welding, and heat treatment. Upon arrival, materials undergo spectral analysis to verify composition (e.g., Ni ≥ 57%, Cr ≈ 16% for Hastelloy C-276). Ultrasonic testing of the plates ensures the absence of intercalation defects. Plasma cutting or waterjet cutting is used for blanking to avoid carbonization in the heat-affected zone, and the cut edges are ground to below Ra 3.2μm. During the forming stage, cold working deformation must be controlled to not exceed 15%. Complex curved surfaces are segmented, pressed, and then welded together. Spin forming is used for head forming. Welding is the core of the manufacturing process; ERNiCrMo-4 welding wire must be used, employing pulsed tungsten inert gas welding (GTAW-P) with 99.999% high-purity argon gas protection. The back side must be purged with argon to prevent oxidation.

Precise control of welding parameters: current 90-120A, voltage 10-12V, heat input ≤15kJ/cm, interpass temperature ≤100℃. Post-weld, solution treatment (rapid cooling at 1120-1170℃) is required to restore corrosion resistance, followed by pickling and passivation to form a chromium-rich passivation film. Dimensional verification is then performed, with roundness deviation ≤0.5%D and straightness ≤1%L.
