High-pressure storage tank

Description：

A high-pressure storage tank (often called a pressure vessel) is designed to safely store gases or liquids at pressures significantly above atmospheric—typically from a few bar up to hundreds of bar depending on the application.

Common materials：

Material choice depends heavily on pressure, temperature, and corrosion:

Carbon steel (SA-516, Q345R) – general high-pressure use 

Stainless steel (304, 316L) – corrosion resistance 

Alloy steels (Cr-Mo steels) – high temperature & pressure 

Composite materials (Type III/IV cylinders) – hydrogen, CNG 

Lined tanks (PTFE, glass-lined) – aggressive chemicals
